somehow it managed to take me an entire month to be able to reply to this, god my internet social anxiety is so frustrating \m/ anyway.
all I really wanted to add was that Michael didn't know why, but he kept thinking of Matilda and Miss Honey. really broke my heart in bits on the first readthrough and it's refused to leave me alone, like, I write it in the margins of stuff when I'm daydreaming, and. there is something about it that is such an extraordinary meeting point between what Michael is like, and what Tom is like, and an understanding of both of them, and adskjhgdfjh this is why I should just leave keyboard mashing as feedback and not try to make any of it into actual words :x it was supposed to be an eloquent argument as to why you should write more of this pairing because you write them in a way that feels so real and honest to me and I love that, but then I just rambled on ineffectually instead :x
