I apologise for any misspellings as I am rather tipsy!
Junpei can't help loving moments like this with Ryoji. They're the only moments he ever gets to feel normal. He's spent so much time alternating between saving the world and getting kicked in the balls for it lately that just getting to be a dude for a couple of minutes is something really, really awesome, and something he's grateful for.

Doesn't stop him minding a bit of blowing off steam between being chased and chasing, and Junpei's relieved that Ryoji turns to him for it because... well, it's nice having something to look forward to once in a while, especially because Ryoji's so open about the whole thing; there's no hiding behind excuses, Ryoji just calls him up every once in a while like Minato's flock of admirers and says "Hey, I'm bringing a few movies over, have you got any tissues?" and then as soon as Ryoji's picked out a movie that has them both interested they'll have their pants halfway down and hands in each other's underwear.
It's nothing major, not like Shinjiro and Akihiko and the deadly silences of doom; Junpei hates himself sometimes for thinking it but he's kind of relieved he never has to sneak past Shinjiro's room for fear of getting battered half to death for daring to make noises that might interrupt them anymore. Shinjiro was awesome but seriously fucking scary sometimes.
Ryoji's just a dude, a hot, fun dude to hang out with, and the sheer relief of not having a million issues to deal with for once while he's around Ryoji is one he can't quite express in words. Being normal again for a little bit is amazing; just getting to jerk off with someone else, no worries, no commitments, just friends with benefits.
And really, okay, so being friends with benefits with Akihiko would fucking rock, same with Minato, but Ryoji is pretty damn awesome and definitely on the same level as those guys; he's gorgeous and Junpei can't help feeling he's got more in common with Ryoji, somehow, than the others.
