- Life on Earth
By:

Rating: PG
Summary: Sam Tyler can hear the drumming.
Recced because: Because this takes the bits of the Master that were in Sam and turns them into something creepier, but ends on such a hopeful, high note without wrecking anything that came before.
Jack/Everyone
- Once Upon a Time
By:
![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Rating: PG
Summary: Every story Jack knows ends with a kiss.
Recced because: It's a little quick whisk through Jack's various relationships with everyone and has a definite fairytale element to it, but a broken, hurt one, and it's just so lovely how you see his affection for everyone but at the same time you see how they can't mend him yet.
Master/Doctor
- Deconstruction
By:
![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Rating: NC-17
Summary: None available.
Recced because: Painful, beautiful, and the Master's calm snarking in the face of potential imminent death is perfect.
- A Sketch in Time
By:

Rating: Mature, but not explicit
Summary: The Doctor's most vivid memory of his home is one he will never be able to commit to paper.
Recced because: This isn't so much a story as a song or a poem - it's utterly lyrical, spellbindingly so.
- Metric
By:

Rating: PG13
Summary: None available.
Recced because: Holy crap. This is... like, the grail of Master/Doctor one-shots. It's terrifyingly plausible and gorgeous and horrific, and it's marvellous. Nails to a tee how wrong these two are for each other, despite everything.
- No More
By:
![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Rating: PG-13
Summary: The John Smith in this story is Blue Suit, the human Doctor, with all of the Doctor's memories. There is no happily ever after in this story, but it's bittersweet, I hope:). This is my S4 finale fix-it fic, and writing it was a very cathartic process for me:).
Recced because: This broke my heart in the best, very best way possible, addressing everything that was wrong with the Rose/clone!Doctor storyline in a tidy, bittersweet way. Fantastic.
Sam Tyler/Doctor (Life on Mars crossover)
- he's in the best selling show
By:
![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Rating: PG-13
Summary: None available.
Recced because: Life on Mars/Doctor Who crossover fic had to happen, and man, poor Sam in this - and the Doctor is disjointed and so very out of time and general sense himself that it brings out the weirdness of Sam's own situation all the more.
