Today was awesome. Or, er, technically yesterday was awesome and today has thus far been awesome.

Woke up at 5pm; had a hot shower (I will never, ever, ever get over the sheer joy of this) and accidentally gave myself a huge scratch down my right arm when overenthusiastic with sugar-scrub (but hey, at least it's clean :P, and fun to poke as it doesn't hurt); nipped to the shops and bought waffles as I've given up chocolate and cream for Lent; had salt and chilli chicken for dinner; went to Amy's birthday party; giggled my head off at receiving an email about "So, where's that sounding fic you wrote?" whilst at said party; stayed up until 4am talking to Amy and co; and have returned home to porn, free books, and a general overwhelming sense of happiness from being drunk on pure conversation.

Well, and three vodka and lemonades, and one tia maria and coke.

BUT MOSTLY CONVERSATION.

(Also, Amy's parties rock. This is truefax and needs to be acknowledged and accepted by everyone.)

Also, getting a taxi at 4am in the morning is enlightening, especially listening to the taxi drivers on the radio all agreeing it's gone dead and they should go home and get some sleep. I love these little insights into the lives of others. <3

See, I love love love early mornings. I'm someone who sucks at getting up (even if I'm very nice about it), but at university there was a point just after I'd finished my dissertation where I was sleeping more or less 7pm to 5am every night for a while. 5am is quite definitely the most interesting time of the day, if you're awake for it. And awesome for writing XD.

And I did indeed have a very good party <3, thank you :)!

XD it's quite funny, sounding's a kink that does nothing for me personally, but once in a while I love writing a kink just because.

Strangely enough, for all that it's known for being an insane fandom, most of the sex I've written for Supernatural has been pretty vanilla - I think I should probably remedy this when I get the chance XD.

(Waffles, custard and marshmallows - not in combination, I might add - are my weapon for surviving Lent this year. I've given up chocolate and cream!)

ACK I ALWAYS DO THIS TO YOU, but omg OT I need your help, I read this epic, EPIC I TELLS YA Dean/Castiel fic the other day and I want to get my friend into it and she'd love it. Cannot find it for love nor money though GAH. I've posted on SPN_storyfinders but my post never appeared, maybe I did it wrong idk but yeah what I can remember:

1. Dean and Castiel get magicked to a town on a mountain, sealed off completely.
2. A girl leaves the town in a balloon because it's one in and one out
3. Dean ends up getting left on his own in the town for years because it's evil!angel town and they're torturing him.
4. Everyone was actually angels.
